I know it’s Friday. My brain is fried.
I signed up for two websites this week and forgot to record the passwords. I’ve wracked my brain and no clue or hint has remained behind to lead me back. Normally I record them in a spreadsheet designed specifically to aid my memory. These two aren’t listed. At all.
Yesterday, after getting dressed for work, I stepped out of the bedroom and realized I’d forgotten a critical undergarment. One I never forget in normal circumstances. And one which I cannot remember ever having forgotten before in my life.
I have no excuse for these lapses. Or at least none that I like.
Aging, perimenopause, and lack of sleep are possibilities. And I do not like any of them. I’m not ready to be “old.”
Strangled Thoughts and Random Musings 
I have too many days like that. I’ve finally learned to (usually) sense when I’m going into that “I’m-going-brain-dead-now” phase, and then I have to quit what I’m doing or ask for help. I have a code I can tell my husband and he knows that if he doesn’t jump in and help, I’ll probably put the toothpaste in the freezer and the ice cream in the linen closet. (Stress and/or lack of sleep have almost everything to do with it, when it happens to me).
A “code” is a wonderful idea, Tracy! Although with my hubby I think I could say it 10 times before he actually gets it… 🙂

I’ve been having similar brain difficulties lately. It’s frustrating and kind of scary.
Makes you wonder if your brain is actually turning to mush, doesn’t it, Trisha?
So far, it usually means I need more sleep and then the computer reboots and I’m okay again… for awhile 🙂

I once went to the shops with a trainer shoe (Nike) on my left foot and a Dressed black show on the right..Didn’t notice till I was half way round the shop when Dawn fell to the floor in tears of laughter..

I’d like to blame that kind of thing on my age… but truth be told — I’m just a ditz!
Although switching from my natural blond to red seems to have helped a bit. 🙂
Does changing your hair color help, Teagan? I’ve never colored my hair, so maybe I should consider it 🙂
